This past weekend my amazing associates, Elizabeth and Susan shot a super fun wedding. Emphasis on FUN! Stephanie and Chris planned their entire wedding from Austin, Texas and did an amazing job. The setting was incredible, the grounds of the Monte Verde Inn were so charming, and the playful spirit of these two shined through in every way. Black & Pink “Chucks” worn by all at the reception, the artists (Chris) character of “Stan” made an appearance on the Boutonnieres and custom made buttons, worn by all. These guys had a blast and it showed in the images we were able to capture for them. Here’s a sneak peek…Enjoy!

Today we were selected as a featured wedding from the great site of Style Me Pretty. Abby choose several weddings that inspire her and she showed them off in her contribution as “guest Blogger” to Design*Sponge. We were one of them! Check us out! We were also featured here and here! This past weekend I was honored to shoot a wonderful and a beautiful wedding. Michele and Steve are the most easy going, relaxed and great people. They had friends from all over the world at their wedding, I mean Wales, Japan, and even OHIO! The setting of the church and the Mojave Resort were such a burst of color. It felt like the saturation was turned up to +10 the whole day. The catering was incredible as well, yummy foods from Jennifer’s Catering. Such a fun wedding to shoot! Michele and Steve, Thanks you! This wedding was amazing too. April and Mitch just did it right. The details of this weddings are so incredible, yet being there felt so comfortable and easy going. It was THE most relaxed and peaceful wedding EVER. The music, the food, the best! Enjoy. This wedding was planned by the BEST! Kristi Amoroso. If you haven’t seen her work, you should! It is by far the most incredible work around.

Recently we were asked by the amazing Abby Jean’s Little Black Book of Vendors to be featured on her site. Abby created a site that is so cool and so informative for the “To-Be-Brides”. The site helps you select and choose from the best in every area of detail you can think of. Getting married? Go to Style Me Pretty! All the vendors on the site have to be referred by another industry vendor, which is a big KUDO in our little industry. We feel very fortunate to be recognized by a style maven like Abby. Thanks Abby and team!

We recently entered an album that we designed in an international design competition (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) and…. We received an Accolade of Excellence! No, we didn’t hit the jackpot of first, second, or third place, but out of the 8,000 entries, we were in the top 50! Our final score was an 82, which is in the “Excellent” category. We’ll take that! Thanks to the incredibly beautiful wedding of Alden + Hub, we had a TON of great images to design with. Heres a little slideshow of the winning album. Alden + Hub Album

Mulberry Photography was recently awarded a Finalist award for Marketing. WoooHooo! The feature article was published in Professional photographer magazine. It was an honor to be recognized for this award as over 12,000 entries were considered. Again, all of this could not come to life without the help and talent of Blase Design. If you are looking for a little help with your marketing program, look to them. They understand and they listen and they deliver!

We had the honor of shooting Ali and Ryan’s wedding this past week, again at the Parker Palm Springs! Our fav for sure! Ali and Ryan had an out of this world wedding. Such a great group of friends and such sweet families there to support them and share in the festivities; I mean PARTY! I think, not certain, but I think they are still partying! Sean Evans from DJ Seven/SF was outstanding. The design and setting was incredible, of course it was, it was created by Sillapere, sooo nice, Nicole! And the event was planned and kept tight by Alison Events, they rock! We are so lucky to be able work with such talent and locations that most only dream of. Here’s a few shots that captured this perfect day!
