Jori and Kevin, what an amazing couple! Soooo in love! These two Doctors found each other in med school and even with incredibly crazy schedules, they find time to just relax and BE with each other. I loved their quite, simple style and the way they couldnt stop touching each other during our shoot. perhaps its the encouragement I brought with me for really steamy images, but none the less, they pulled it off flawlessly. We shot all over San Francisco and even made a stop at one of their “special” spots, Coit Tower. After a full days shooting with these two, there was no better way to say goodbye for now, than a stop for some great sushi! They are getting married later this summer at the City Club in San Francisco. That is going to be an incredible and beautiful wedding, given that the Gay Pride parade is the same day in the same location! I cant wait for your big day guys!

We recently shot a great esession in beautiful SF, CA. Karen and Mike wanted to shoot in their favorite city, so I wasnt going to say no to that! We hit several of their fav spots including Bi Rite Ice Cream! The best ever!!! And Chrissy Field on a super clear day, imagine that! These two are planning a really beautiful wedding at Squaw Valley later this spring, I cant wait!

Perhaps it means “BackLog Of Gorgeous images?” Perhaps. So why dont I try to get you updated on some of those…

We have been so busy these days that the one item that falls through the cracks is this blog. NO MORE! Time to get it up to date. I will be sprinkling in some of the 2008 weddings and engagements as we cruise through 2009, but I will get them up! So lets start with a really fun engagement shoot we had recently in San Diego.

Hello Amy and Grant!

Their wedding in Lake Tahoe in March is going to be a beautiful one for sure. But for now they are living in San Diego, so that’s where we went for this fun shoot. Enjoy!

We spent a fun day shooting engagement pix around Lake Tahoe with Jen and Brian over Labor Day weekend. They met in a Mexican restaurant & bonded over margaritas and Coronas – which makes perfect sense because Jen & her family have been vacationing in Cabo every year since she was a little girl. We have a lot in common with these two: she’s a Pisces like Albert; they are getting married in a few weeks on September 20th – which is our wedding anniversary; and they love animals – they have two German Shepherds, one of which is in a K9 unit and works with Brian, who is a Police Officer. Their wedding will surely be fantastic as it is being held at Jen’s family winery in St. Helena and is being designed and planned by the best in the business, Kristin Amoroso. Brian was such a good sport playing the adoring fiancé to her sassy cowgirl, and then rock star to Jen’s admiring groupie. They were so fun to goof around with, despite the crazy wind!! Jen’s uncle owns Wolfdale’s in Tahoe City, so she & her family spend a lot of time in Tahoe. So we hope to see lots of them even after their big day next week. Cant wait!

Albert & I spent Sunday in SF with the cutest couple ever. Really! Rachel is a gorgeous, tall, blonde lawyer who represents big, serious, corporate clients – but don’t be fooled – she is as girl-next-door as it gets! So sweet and down to earth. She’s a three (or was it four?) time marathon runner; went to UCLA; then Law school in SF; & she’s a big time music junkie….her “Deserted island must-have” list includes an “everlasting and automatically updating ipod.” Love her! Kevin is a super hilarious ultra jock. He was a competitive swimmer in college at Michigan, and is a frequent surfer these days from their new home in Costa Mesa, where he works as a financial advisor. This Southern CA native has quite a thing for PB-honey-banana sandwiches! A guy after my own heart! These two actually met in high school, and their paths criss-crossed the country for about a decade before they were finally both in the same state at the same time again, and gave it a real go. Thank goodness they did cause they were meant for each other! The only thing that wasn’t absolutely perfect about this day was the darn SF “summer” weather, but these two were such troopers. We played all day despite the fog & chilly temps. We are literally counting the days ’til their wedding Sept. 1 2008 at Chambers Landing on Tahoe’s West Shore. Anything these two collaborate on is bound to be laughter-and-fun-filled and truly special! Thanks for a great day guys – can’t wait to see you in a few weeks.

The incredible Mulberry Associate team did it again. They shot a really special wedding at River Ranch, on the sparkling, splashing Truckee River. What a magical location! Craig and Jocelyn absolutely radiated with love for each other! The love and support of their families and friends was very evident as well. An impacting part of the ceremony was when they remembered family members that were no longer with them, by casting flowers into the river. It’s so great when brides & grooms do things that resonate with them, and make their day truly unique. And those Flower Girls, sooo cute! They really knew how to ham it up in front of the cameras!  It was such a pleasure to be able to capture precious moments in time for this darling couple.  They were so full of life and we wish them all the best! Sara and Blair, such fun-lovin, out-going, spirited people. We loved shooting their engagement session. It was maybe 40 degrees, maybe. But we had a blast! We could have spent all day with them, had the weather gods cooperated a bit more. We are so excited to shoot their wedding at Heavenly Valley this August. Sam and Allen are a great couple. Thats the simple story. But they are such real and interesting people. Both “jetsetters”, literally! They both hit the skies for Alaska Airlines. They love travel, people, and being real. I wish they lived closer, but with wings on theirs backs, maybe we will be able to connect more beyond their wedding in August. I sure hope so!
